Common Questions

What is the rate and how can I order?

Liang bases her rates on the type of art, the size of the drawing or painting, and the number of subjects in the portrait; see the pricing page for a guide. Once you have a basic idea of the type and size of portrait you'd like, the How to Order page explains the ordering process.

How good will it be? What if I'm not satisfied with the outcome?

Liang works in a photo-realistic style, and accuracy is her strength. Please give her as much direction as possible so you get the portrait you want. Browse the gallery to see samples of her work, and read what her clients have said on the testimonials page. When your portrait is finished, Liang will email you a digital photo of it. Very few clients have ever had concerns about the quality of their portrait, but from this photo you can suggest any changes, and Liang will do her best to achieve the result you want. Keep in mind that a portrait can only be as good as the photo it's based on, which is why it's so important to choose the right photo before ordering.
