Color Pastel Drawings
Color pastel brings full colour to a drawn portrait. Like all of Liang's work, it's photo-realistic, with accurate likeness and true-to-life colour.
Pastel is a good middle ground between charcoal and oil: you get colour at a lower price than an oil painting, and it's finished much sooner, usually in about 7 days rather than 2 to 4 weeks. It works especially well for pets with light or white coats, which can get lost in black-and-white charcoal, and for colourful photos of children and families.
For the best result, start with a clear, well-lit colour photo; see the photo guidelines. If your photo is especially vibrant and the budget allows, Liang often recommends an oil painting instead.
Color pastel is also a great choice for portraying subjects with rich and vibrant colors.
